Trip Expectations for Spain

After months of anticipation, I cannot be more excited to finally visit the beautiful country of Spain. I have been to Ireland, but never to a country where a different language is spoken. Throughout this trip, I hope to improve my ability to communicate in Spanish and learn about the culture and history of Spain. Whether we are strolling through the Plaza Mayor, learning how to cook paella and gazpacho, or taking Flamenco dance lessons, I know every activity will be a new and exciting adventure. Most of all, I look forward to immersing myself into the Spanish culture and comparing it to the American way of life. I am so grateful to be given this opportunity to study abroad in Spain, and I know this experience will stay with me for the rest of my life.
