El 6 de Julio

Hola!!! Today we had our third day of classes. We are starting to get in our routine and get more comfortable in the classes. After classes we went and saw three Ursuline covenants. The first one we went to was the monestario de la anvnciacion. Here, we went around and looked at the many paintings. One of my favorite paintings was called "nacimiento del niño Jesus."  It depicted the story of the birth of Jesus, showing Mary and Joseph crouched around Jesus in the stable. The second covenant we went to was the convento de las devenas. I thought this one was unique in that it had a garden in the center of the building. We took many pictures and ate delicious cookies. The last covenant that we visited was the convento de Sanesteban. My favorite thing about this covenant was that they had mirrors on the floor. This was so you could have an easier time looking at the ceiling and your surroundings. We saw the escalera de soto, which is unique in that it did not have any support. Once again, we took many pictures and looked at the beautiful architecture.
