The seventh day in beautiful Salamanca!
The day started with the usual class but after the 4 hours, we all walked to a cute market to buy some ingredients for the gazpacho and paella we cooked later today. We then went on our own ways and reconvened at 6:00 under the plaza clock. We walked from there to a bakery called Brownie & Home where, in the basement, there's an area for cooking classes. We all took turns to help cook the three different dishes: paella, gazpacho, and a cake called bicocho con fondant which we made with a really nice cook named Andres. Sadly, I was the only one who wasn't able to help with the cooking process but I did have fun making Spanish cooking jokes (What does a Spanish tooth fairy use in their food? Ingre-dientes).
